Cut the stock grills up last night and glued the mesh on, should be finished drying up this afternoon and I will be installing tonight. I have to say i love the way its looking and the mesh is definitely quality and easy since its all precut. Even though they are a bit pricey, you get what you pay for like they say, installed pics to follow.

Nice you gave them the inside treatment....Mine sat in the garage the 24hrs...lol
I should have taken pics as I was doing it- but I never think of taking a pic as I am doing the project- getting so involved and stuff- Next, I put together a Steeda CAI-

I got my grill kit today. very nice quality, im very happy with the grill. im going to installing them next week on my days off. I figure im going to take my time and take a few days to do a few things, toe links, bushings, front grill delete kit. ill take pics as I go. I plan on starting Wed, finishing on Thursday or friday. Im in no hurry. I'm still very interested if I will be able to attach the running pony. I'm getting one of the American flag airbrushed ones. I'm thinking about knocking off the posts and 3M taping the thing to the grill. I'm pretty sure it will stay in place. I'm just hoping I can get it on straight. Any suggestions?

Maybe you could keep the posts on the emblem and use the same retainers as the stock one?

So here is mine-
I like it. I was looking at the rectangular Coyote badges that were GP'ed a several weeks back, that would also look pretty outstanding on this grill.

I watched the video, the OEM removal, glue, etc., seems pretty straight forward, what's the PITA level of removing the entire piece?

[edit]

Badge I was referencing (on a custom grill no less):

Thanks. They wouldn't take my order so I figured I'd find "another" coyote. Lol
I love those badges. Car is black and going to do my calipers in Red. So I figure I'd add accents with red.

As for it being a PITA....pulling the original grills off. Other than that it's straight forward.

finally got the time to do the install. i was really happy with the kit and the way the grill looks now.

Only tricking thing about taking the front bumper off was the 7mm hidden screw. i have a pic showing its location. other than that, now knowing how it comes off, 15 min job easy...

After much hassle with the two hidden front bumper screws I finally got to using the dremel on my grille. It was surprisingly simple and straight forward after that. The custom black gloss grille that I ordered looks way better in person than it did in the pictures. A simple gluing and drying did the job perfectly, and now the grille is on for good. I would recommend this website to anyone interested.

I have the same mesh and have the exact same Howler badge coming. Did you use the grill mount kit or just stick the badge onto the mesh?

I used the mounting kit considering the small plates have a larger surface area to adhere to compared to the mesh. I just didn't want to risk having the badge fall off the mesh, even though it probably wouldn't. Better safe than sorry.
