Really hope my ETA to pick the car up this Saturday is not held back because of a bit of foil and cable ties!! Wish I had not opened my mouth about it as he wasn't aware of any field action and most like the PDI people weren't either as other cars have been taken by customers.....just hope I can do the same as you [MENTION=14112]croyde[/MENTION]

I also got told I need to pay my full deposit before the day I pick the car up and not on the day??

Fuck that, don't hand any money over until you're happy with the car mate. We all know what the majority of sales people, even any service industry is like, second they have the cash they don't care.:frusty:

This happened to another person I know who got a car at Dunton. If it is a Saturday you can see why they want to see cleared funds in their account. You could do debit card on the day but I have tried that once before and ended up on the phone with Visa discussing my postcode for half an hour.

You have still got the right to refuse the product if faulty and demand all your money back including deposit. Hopefully that will not be the case and the car will be the best thing ever :cheers:

Yeah I was wondering if Saturday pick up had anything to do with it, to be fair to my dealer I didn't actually ask why I couldn't pay on the day. Glad to know that I still have the right to refuse the car (no need fingers crossed lol) and I can still get the deposit back paid and the finance cancelled.

I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of payments getting rejected for whatever silly reason so I just paid the remainder last night so I can just pick the car up without hassle when it's ready

Funny isn't it, you can't appreciate the CO until you've actually seen it, on pictures it looks like a somewhat race red looking mustang, but when you see it in person it's very very different, fun stuff :lol:!

Bet you're so glad 'shes' home now! Talk of the neighbourhood roaring up and down them roads, you'll have the grannies from nieghbourhood watch asking you to keep it down as they can't hear corrie on the tellie!
