Ford Mustang Named Hottest Car at 2015 SEMA Show

The Ford Mustang has won the 2015 SEMA award honor for Hottest Car!  The award recognizes the most popular vehicles the organization’s members feature in their displays at the week-long specialty equipment manufacturers event.

The award is a testament to not only the popularity of the Mustang but also serves as recognition from the aftermarket manufacturers as the best platform for accessorizing and showcasing their parts and products.

“Winning SEMA’s hottest vehicle awards for Mustang, Focus and F-Series is a great affirmation of the popularity of Ford vehicles with this trendsetting part of the market,” said Dave Pericak, director, Ford Performance, who accepted all of the honors at the annual awards breakfast. “We’re proud the aftermarket has embraced these three vehicles with as much enthusiasm as our customers invest to personalize their Mustang, Focus and F-Series.”

Ford’s presence at this year’s SEMA award was as strong as ever.  The company had the largest OEM presence helped along with eight Ford Mustang custom builds.
