There’s been ample evidence over the past year and more that the S550 Mustang is a smash hit in Europe.
By sheer volume, drivers in Germany and the United Kingdom rank first and second for most Mustangs purchased in any European country since the introduction of the 2015+ Mustang, but by a different metric a good case can be made that the biggest S550 Mustang fans are actually in Belgium.
Of more than 21,000 new Mustangs that Ford has now sold across Europe since the vehicle officially went on sale in the region last year, 1,600 of the S550 Mustangs went to Belgian enthusiasts.
That represents one Mustang for every 4,693 of the country’s 7,659,000 drivers, a much higher proportion of Mustang owners than anywhere else in Europe

Of course, Germany and the UK are no slouches in that department either — German drivers have bought 7,281 Mustangs (1 for every 7,700 drivers) and British drivers have bought 4,761 Mustangs (1 for every 7,743 drivers).
