If you have been following Mishimoto’s EcoBoost Mustang research and development, you know they invest a lot of time and effort in getting things right and give us observers an in-depth look into their internal development and testing.
The company is now developing a new, larger-diameter and better-flowing cat back exhaust for the 2015+ EcoBoost Mustang. The aim here is for better sound and bigger power when paired in conjunction with its 3″ downpipe that is also in development.
Their experts document the progress as they remove the stock S550 exhaust and then fabricate and weld their first prototype cat back exhaust for the new 2.3L Mustang.
