We all know the 2015 Mustang retains the Getrag MT82 6-speed manual transmission of the previous generation but with new, stiffer linkage to improve shift quality and a lift-up collar to access the reverse gate.
Beyond the mechanics, the feel and aesthetics of the shifter have also been improved — with better quality materials and added heft to the shift knob.
