We’ve just gotten our best look yet at what promises to be the most beastly Mustang ever—the 2020 GT500 Mustang!
All previous prototypes were still covered in heavy vinyl camouflage, but our latest shots show the car in nothing but a body-hugging graphic wrap. A teaser that was released last month gave a rendered look at the direction of the GT500, but this real-world look gives up numerous unseen details.
The GT500—which is promised to have more than 700 horsepower—gets a sinister reworked front fascia, with larger air-intakes and a massive hood bulge with what appear to be heat-extracting vents. Unique aerodynamic flares have been added at the front corners, with a secondary diffuser that wraps around the front lip, and also underneath the side-sills. Curiously, the side diffuser appears to stop about half way through the GT500’s wheelbase.
