Compass360 Racing has announced that in its much anticipated return to the Continental Tire Sportscar Challenge, drivers Paul Holton and Pierre Kleinubing will be the first customer team to compete with the new Shelby GT350R-C Mustang in the GS-class.
“We’re honored to have been selected by the folks at Ford to be the first team to run the new Mustang, and are looking forward to working closely with Multimatic in continuing to develop the platform,” said team principal Karl Thomson.
The No. 76 GT350R-C Mustang will wear a unique “Art Car” livery featuring painting by NF Hero and philanthropic artist Jeffrey Owen Hanson and applied with unique AERO Advanced Paint Technology — all in support of the Children’s Tumor Foundation (CTF).
On January 8-10, the C360R IMSA team will be at the Roar Before the 24 at Daytona International Speedway in preparation for its season opener in the Rolex 24 Hours on January 27-29 at Daytona.
