2016 Ford Mustang Recall

Ford has just issued a safety compliance recall for some 2016 Mustangs in North America due to restraint parts that may have been damaged during shipping from the supplier.

A total of 1,906 2016 Mustangs built between September 26 and October 1, 2015 may have been affected by this issue, which would cause the parts to not conform to the FMVSS requirements for seat belt assembly performance and/or child restraint anchor systems.

If you have one of the affected vehicles, dealers will be replacing your front and rear seat belt assemblies, rear seat buckle assemblies and child tethers at no cost to you.
