Well, pulled the trigger on a Whipple supercharger for #467 with a few upgrades (larger oval throttle body, dual fans, 97 pound injectors, boost a pump, and 12 psi pulley).

Car already has Kooks 1-7/8" exhaust, Kooks 3" X-pipe with high flow cats, Kooks 3" cat back, DSS carbon fiber driveshaft, JLT CAI and a custom dyno tune. A 91 octane and an E85 tune custom dyno tune will be done for the car.

Waiting to see what numbers it will lay down.

$7699. Having it installed at a local shop in Tucson, AZ. Will fly in my tuner one more time for the dyno tune. Looking for big gains with E85.

Quick update:

Already have the supercharger kit in my hands. Decided to order forged rods and pistons, pump gears, head cooling mod among a few other engine parts since we will be playing around with high boost. Those parts should be arriving this coming week.

Also ordered the Ford Racing Handling Pack, which I received yesterday, and the Drag Pack which should be shipped early in August.

Ended up ordering a gauge pack (same as Ecoboost's), which should also arrive early in August.

We are hoping to start installation of parts by middle or end of August (once all parts are in hand). Will keep you all posted.

Very nice parts list. Sounds like a big job but it's a good idea if your planning big boost. Keep us updated :)

Did you get the whipple color matched? I've thought about a WW Whipple after seeing a few color matched blowers at Mustang Week.
