Hello all,

Just thought some of you may find this useful.

I fitted lowering springs and spacers myself last week (Eibach Pro and 25/15mm spacers), I’ve driven it around for a few days to let everything settle in, very pleased with how it’s turned out.

I’d rang a few places locally, I’m in Warrington, to enquire prices etc for Hunter 4 wheel alignment. A couple of places are just tyre depots that have the alignment facilities, even Kwik Fit have one, but obviously didn’t go there. The place I chose was an independent Porsche specialist called NineMeister, just off junction 21 of the M6, I feel I should state that I have no affiliation with them, never even owned a Porsche.

I just wanted to say that I was very, very impressed with their service, and attention to detail. The guy that did my car it turns out has a depth of knowledge and skills a lot can only dream about, in his day he was Ayrton Sennas suspension man! He inspired confidence, had all the settings asked if I’d like it set up for road or more of a track bias, had no problems setting it back to spec’.

And to top it off while I was waiting you can have a look around all the exotica, very cool, there were about a dozen Porsche’s in various states of undress being serviced etc on the ramps, there were race cars, classics, engine building room, Porsche’s are quite nice aren’t they? And they make you a brew whilst you wait.

They did say if I ever need further work, or suspension jobs etc to give them a shout. It was lovely, and took a lot of the stress I had about taking my car in to a garage away (I’m sure we all have those feelings), they were used to nice cars, not like taking it into the Ford dealer, where you get a couple of inches between a Fiesta and a repmobile to park.
