My new favorite feature is the "mute" button on the steering wheel for the radio! I have about a hour commute each way, and I like to listen to the 60's station on Sirius radio, but the damn disk jockey talks too much between songs. My 2012 did not have that.
Since you brought up the mute button... I like, but I also absolutely HATE it because it replaced the button to scrole through to other options. (FM1, FM2, XM1, XM2, erc)

Favorite feature is the sound from the Bullitt's Active Exhaust. Would love to know how it's sounds compared to a regular GT though. If you haven't heard one you have no idea what you're missing. Just read/watch the reviews. If you try it in an automatic or a 4 cylinder, you won't "get ir".

BTW, I hate the sunglass tray. Too many steps to store my sunglasses. Should be no more than one. Zero would be preferable.

I'm with a few others here... My favorite feature is the 400+ whp. That should be near the top of everybody's list on here.
I would agree with you if it didn't take so long to get there. Low end torque is MUCH more fun. If you're not used to old school V8's, PLEASE drive one. It's a whole different world. Not trying to be an ass, but most people on here seem to be new to a V8, and even fewer have driven a REAL V8.

Yes.

I even made a post here not too long after getting mine about how it felt sluggish in the lower RPM bands. I came from Fox Bodies and SN-95’s and this is my first coyote.

After putting miles on this one I’m getting used to it and I know what I can and will do to wake it up (whipple). I do really like how these engines spin up to 7500.

Once I get above 4000 it wakes up.

I have to say I wouldn't put the SN-95 in the same torque category as a Fox body. I was VERY disappointed in my '03 4.6L for low end torque. I've gotten used to the Coyote being a lot of fun at 4k+ RPM's though. Would be unbelievably more fun if all that torque was at 2k+!
First time I drove my friends '65 Fastback V-10 I remembered how how much I missed the low end torque.

I actually like winding it out. If the powerband was any higher like the GT350, the car wouldn't be fun on the street. I know you aren't being mean, I didn't take it as such. Everybody has a different opinion about everything lol.

Can't say I've ever driven the old 5.0.

My buddy has a GT with the A10 and I have a GT with 4.10 gears, so I don't have much of an issue with low end torque. Put another set of rear end gears in your car and then get back to me.

What year is your GT with the 4:10's?

Just curious, but what do you consider an old school, REAL V8?

My favorite weird feature is the hidden sunglasses holder next to the trunk release... I haven't noticed that in any other car quite like that..lol

Pay no attention. If you look at the torque curve on a coyote motor, it's making more at 2000 rpm than the peak output of the Windsor 302. Makes more then keeps climbing in the rev range. Nostalgia and butt-dyno are talking here. Same thing as the manual vs. auto arguments. The new thing is better in every measurable way, but the old thing is better because of fond memories.
I know and agree with your general assessment.
