I Love everything about the performance package. I only wish the wheels were wider in the back.

I am hoping the wheels grow on me once I have the car.....

i can see the old timers not liking them or liking the fact they're black though.
Well I'm fairly "new school" and I'll be swapping the wheels out as soon as the car arrives since I find them rather ugly. Also, I'm a fan of contrast and the black wheels/tires don't give me that. They seem too "mesh" for me on a mustang as well. I figure it would look better on a euro car TBH.

To each their own!

Count me in the minority; I love mine. Wouldn't exchange them for any other OE S550 wheel style except for the 50th LE's (and not the 50AP with its silver finish).
Same here. They have really grown on me. I get a ton of compliments on the wheels as well. My dad, who is 69 and the biggest Ford performance car guy in the world loves them as well.
Agreed, I love mine....except cleaning them.
Yeah, cleaning, not so much:headbonk:. Takes a while to get them all nice and spiffy.

I'm going to replace them eventually don't get me wrong. Just in no rush because I do think they look good. I of course wish they had better offset and were wider since now I'm lowered.

I like wheels that sparkle in the sunlight; chrome all the way. The V6 Pony Package wheels on my S197 were PERFECT. I should have taken them off it when I traded it in. It's basically impossible to find good chrome wheels for the S550; I'm perplexed.

Seriously, these were the most beautiful wheels I can imagine:

I'm not feeling the wheels nor the summer tires. Doesn't too a lot of us good, unless you want to spend even more money on another set of winter wheels

I like chrome wheels as well. Here are the chrome Saleen's on my 03 Cobra.

It's slower than a Camaro 1LE. It forces you to get too short 3.73 gears. Those are the only real downsides.
I personally love the short 3.73 gears for city driving...

I'm a chrome wheel guy too. Old school maybe? Give me a good spindly taped 5 spoke with some dish in chrome and I'm tickled.

Worth every penny. I think the gearing is fine and the wheels are awesome. Takes me about 10 minutes to clean all four, one finger in the rag method.

I picked up my PP Oxford White on Tuesday and I absolutely love this thing. Of course it IS my first Mustang, so I'm just over joyous to be in one!

Yep. I am 44, not sure that is old school though? LOL! If I can't find chrome for my '15, I will go with polished aluminum.

I was 33 when I got my new 03 Cobra and had those Saleen's put on within 6 months.

These are #1 on my list for my '15. The ones on the left as they sit.

I have the PP and I love the whole package even the rims, especially with the Magnetic color. But as other people have said they are a pain to clean but I've seen worse.
