What is the highest speed you have gone?

Curious to see what everyone has gone. I was told it was hard coded to 186 but on a 6th gear pull it went far beyond that on a dyno. Not sure if 186 is NOT the limit or Whipple's relationship with Ford brings the magic.

Whipple tune removes that limit but according to my hp tuners the normal ECM limit is 186 it won't let me raise it above that.

I think it was the BoostWorks guys who said the ECU has a 300KPH built-in limit and no way to go faster on stock ECU.

The patch has been figured out and applied. Whipple apparently has it and Lund does as well. We'll be a the Texas Mile to test it out ourselves in a few weeks.

Year ago.. 175mph half mile and hit the 186mph limiter (193mph on the 29" tires) just shy of the 3/4 mile marker. You can hear it closing the TB in that video.

so as long as i'm tuned by lund, or go whipple, i can do the arkansas mile once i do FI?!?!

i was told about it by my girlfriend's father(callaway vette) and i thought it'd be lame if i was able to make it and got shut down at 186...as of now though, my N/A car doesn't hafta worry...but a brotha can dream right
