How did you manage to fix the alignment?
I was lucky that my side to side alignment was good, it was only the vertical alignment that needed a tweak to get the shutline with the front bumper good and even :

Nice sunny day (21C, but snow due at weekend ... ?!) so it got a wash and I finally got around to adjusting the hood latch to rid it of the pinched look. This is how much I had to move the latch (which is now at the top of its adjustment) :

I thought it might need more but it turned out perfect :

The only option if it did need more would have been to space the latch on the hood - glad it didnā€™t need that ...

I kept the heavy serrated captive washers / nuts up against the latch, but swapped the outer single nut and locking washers for two stainless nuts and washers :

Everything under the front panel that looked like it might not age well got treated with SuperTroll before the panel went back on.

Only a small adjustment of the left side rubber bumper required, Iā€™m very happy with that shut line now :

As a bonus, the hood doesnā€™t need dropping from as high now to latch and what was a very sensitive electrical switch now seems much happier :like:

I was concerned that I might have introduced a bit of hood flutter now itā€™s not as tight but a quick trip to Mexico confirmed it seems happy into triple digits. Canā€™t say the same for the other halfā€™s reaction though, although she did seem quite impressed when I hit the anchors at that speed and pulled over a g ... :giggle:

Cheered her up with a coffee break (I know how to treat her well :cwl:)

Itā€™s a shame the shopping park is suffering though ... Two shops behind that photo gone, Halfords gone, the restaurant whoā€™s outdoor table we sat at (coast to coast) also gone ... :frown:

Still, I was pleased with my new shut line :

The height is also good for the bumper / light / fender transitions :

Edit : Interestingly I've just spotted the orange one behind mine, this is what mine was like pre adjustment :

Went to install the Roush a cat back exhaust system, got the stock exhaust off, opened the boxes for the Roush unit and realized I was sent the wrong mufflers and exhaust tips. šŸ˜” At least I've got the X pipe and downpipes in. Working on getting the rest sorted out and hopefully get it completed hopefully they don't want the whole unit back before sending the replacement.. more to come

Looks great. Still love that black roof.
Thanks a bunch. I love it on the orange. I'm very careful with how it gets dried to not show any swirl marks. Glad the whole car is not black.

Like everyone else, today was pretty nice so I washed and waxed it.

I also removed the foam block in the spare wheel well, relocated the emergency air compressor, tire repair kit, and jumper cables to inside the cabin. I am trying to remove as much weight and move the weight inboard the wheels as much as possible.
