Some may call me a Philistine but honestly i'm quite happy with the stock premium system which already has a sub in the trunk and don't see the need for any additional work. I put a layer of Dynamat below, around and behind the sub which has made a difference so i'd say go for it as i'm sure it will make a difference to your sub.Are you going to add a subwoofer? I have some left over sound deadening from when I was working on an old car and was thinking about maybe adding some sheets to the trunk for my subwoofer. It will be a small powered unit so not much thump, but I figured might as well add some sheets while I'm in there installing the sub.
