began experimenting with different color fender hashmarks on my carbonized gray GT, big worm has sent me several swatches to test out, this is a set of gloss silver hashes… I like to look, but I’m also going to experiment with matte or gloss anthracite, black and red, and then different pinstripes available… The guys at big worm are really excellent. They will suppy you diff swatches completely for free.

I’d be curious to see what the other colors and finishes look like, but that looks pretty damn good as is

if you are painting an engine cover that has circulation around and underneath it, you can use regular paint. I have several engine covers painted with standard rust oleum colors and they look fine several years later. If it’s a part that is directly on the engine, then I would use high temp.

Did you use a high temp paint or normal color match automotive paint?
Thank you very much
High temp paint. Used Chevy orange engine paint. It matched pretty well

I'm hoping my dealer does the same for me. I have this flaking issue on BOTH ends of my spoiler on the trunk lid.
How many miles? The service manager made it sound like you have a limited mileage/timespan to point out quality/delivery related issues. I had no problem im assuming since i'm at 3500 mi.

The guys at big worm suggested last night that I add a slight bit of color to make the hash pop and I had some red 3/8 inch tape so I added that and they were right. this really makes the hashmark pop and matches the brakes, I will see how other pinstripes look but I think I’ll probably stay with this one although a thinner 1/4 inch.

Oooh I like that. Brings out your red calipers a little more.

I like both. Without the pinstripe it's more subtle. With it, it's more dramatic and pulls in the calipers nicely.

Another nice combination is the one that is shown on the big worm site, a bit more conservative:

a matte black hash stripe with red pinstripes…

It'll have 1900 on it when I get it to the dealership tomorrow or Friday.

Should be good then. Check for foam sticking out of your tail lights above and below as well so they kill two birds with one stone if you have the same sloppy assembly mine did

Realized I probably can't do it myself and need a body shop to take care of this. Baffling it's only ever been gently hand washed. I blame the paint/job quality. Also wtf is with the cracked welds? how does that happen in less than 50k miles?!?

I ran the lines from the Radium fuel hat to the engine compartment. Added the Arcane in-line fuel filter and the check valve. Installed the fuel pressure gauge onto the Whipple fuel rails too.
