Had mine off a number of times. The bumper to fender bolts are always a pain because the wheel well liners are much stiffer on the Shelby's than the regular GT's, V6's, and Ecoboosts.

It works best if you remove the entire undertray with the bumper too. In total you've probably got 12-16 bolts total holding the whole thing on that way.

Putting it back on is pretty easy. Nice to have two hands though to help feed the brake ducts back through their little locations while you have to get front bumper in the right spot over top of the front mounts.

Thanks Mav. My main concern is getting it to look like it was never off the car after I'm done. I'm concerned about body alignment issues. Sounds like it goes back on pretty straight.

Alignment issues aren't a concern. It's not like there are numerous ways it can go back in place. Also, you're talking about a production line Ford Mustang, not a Pagani. Panel fitment isn't exactly flawless as it is so doubt it will even be noticeable. Just make sure you get the bumper over the top of the little "pins" under the headlights when putting it back on and then clip it in to the circled clip by pressing on it firmly so it snaps in place and then bolt it in.

It seems to work best with two people, or a rolling floor jack under the front splitter. I also put masking tape near where the bumper to fender clips are.

My R is way better built and cooler than some Panini.

Good tips. Thank you.

Pagani's are cool to look at, but no one drives them...

Well, finally got the insurance put back on the Shelby as of April 7th. Removed the Wheel Dollies and repositioned the car to back out of the garage.
Decided to take her for a quick drive just to warm the car up. Once back at the garage I did an ONR cleanup, removing the light coating of dust that had collected over the winter. I'm still amazed at how well this product works and how simple it is to apply in any weather.

You must be a great photographer! In that pic it looks almost Lightning or Atlas Blue…I love it. I need to get better at my photos.

Practice for when I can afford a 350 and my current girl. 🫶

I'd love to take credit for that photo, but that wasn't me. The detailing shop in Chicago where I had it ceramic coated has a professional photographer on staff. (Chicago Auto Pros).
They do great work.

Yeah haven't done the rear yet. Just wanted to see what it finally looked like.

Rear studs are only needed for additional strength as I've never seen a single wheel setup on a factory fender car that needed extended studs. I haven't upgraded mine as the job in the rear is considerably harder than the front.

Agreed, the rears are a real prick, bad words are just bound to be spoken or muttered…..
Just saying as
I’ve done tests

Changed my cabin air filter. Gang, make sure to do this yearly. I don't know why Ford put it at such an awkwardly angled location though....
