So I tried replacing the sidemarkers to amber. Bought an LED. Man that thing sucks... you need a pretty powerful one and small also. I decided to use incandescent bulbs, but amber one, not white like it isnow.
Also, I want to add the turn signal bulb to the parking lights so the whole case be light up, not just half of it.
Buuuuuuuut, this means connecting the parking cable to the turn signal cable and make sure the voltage from the parking to not go into the turn signal and vice versa. This means diodes or mosfets and I'm too lazy to do that... I'm thinking of replacing the stardard P21W socket with a 1157 socket. That way I get a dual filament bulb and connect just split the parking light wire to one of the filament and the turn signal to the other.
Was thinking if smth like this fits as replacement.

Ps: when taking out the side marker which in EU car is INSIDE, not on THE SIDE (wtf Ford?) I had to use a pair or pliers to rotate counterclock... no way to do it by hand. Also be careful when taking out the 3 plastic nuts that hold the splash guard. I think one of mine is loose now due to pulling it out idk.

Stefan, is this socket mechanically compatible with the P21W (BA15S)?

Nope. That one has 1 contact. This one has 2. This one is like the 7443 switchback. It uses a dual filament P21W bulb. I want to try your 7443 though because I doubt that clasic P21W have the switchback function, unlike the LED and socket you want.
I found some Chinese sockets on ebay, gonna order 1 and see if they can be placed instead of our regular socket.
Btw, does anyone noticed the turn signal socket to be a little odd? It doesn't look at all like the one in my photo. It's fairly big. It might cover some electronic stuff in there besides 2 cables?

When you conclude, you have to open a thread (pin preferred) as a reference instructions for the replacement bulbs, type, sockets, including photos (before/after) and e-shops links.
There is HUGE of information for all type of lights (interior/exterior) within too many different threads.

How on earth those simple dual filament bulbs know when you turn on and off :)) I'd rather take p21 because it's harder to find dual amber switchback. I'll give it a shot... damn these connectors take ages to ship

I said 'socket', not filament bulb :D
there are led switchback bulbs with this socket, sure you have to connetc the third wire to the parking light!

True true. I'm tired... messed up another thread also. I'll go to sleep now :)))
Well I'm thinking a Bay15D or 7443 with switchback led.
If only I can fit the socket in our car. Tonight I'm measuring the diameter of the socket. Please let it work.

FYI: Not really a mod but anyway I figured to best post it here... Today I checked http://www.etis.ford.com and noticed there is a software update for Sync dating 2015/10/08 and also for the steering module (PSCM) dating 2015/09/02

Not sure if we are supposed to perform it ourselves or hop in at the dealer and have them understand wth we're talking about :D

In case you need to change your reverse bulbs or go under the car, the detachable trunk floor mat does the job very well. It has a cushion under and unless you put it in water, it doesn't get dirty.
Thx Ford for this innovative invention. /sarcasm off
