Took out this piece of poop. The nut was not as bad as I thought it would be. Now need to take her out to see if it actually makes a difference. Holes closed with the blowfish racing kit from AM

What foam gun/lance/fire hose are you using? With 30 days to go I need to start buying cleaning gear
I use the Autobrite snow foam lance along with Autobrite MagiFoam in conjunction with a lower end Gerni.

If you go with a Gerni, make sure you also get the optional Auto Nozzle which will be a little gentler on your paint.

Having said that, I'll be giving some of the Adam's Polishes stuff a go when this lot runs out.

They sent me some samples with a recent purchase and I have to say that I'm impressed.

Must get one of these with the Karcher adapter. I've been looking at the Adam's Polishes stuff as well (looks the goods) - I want to get their smaller orbital polisher. The US Adams Polish section on this forum has a discount voucher attached to it (5% or 10% on first purchase). Looks to have a much bigger range than the oz site...but then there is the postage....:eyebulge:

To my ears, thr change is subtle, but there. The background bass hum is gone. Much better.

Do you have after market exhaust. Id be keen to hear from anyone who has stock exhaust and removed the sound tube

Today I have started the process of putting stripes on my pony. This two metres of gloss white Avery Supreme wrap I just bought will turn into stripes, along with the black pin striping. A friend with a background in sign writing is going to do the honours.

Not planning to use the 3m brand 'Oly Blue' pin stripping that's in the photo, but thought I would mention that it is very close to Grabber Blue. It would look great beside matte black stripes on a black Stang, black stripes on white, etc.

The sill/rocker stripes will look like this paper mock-up I created (see below). Black pin stripping through the center and a black Ford logo. I know a pony would look better, but I am a little peeved that there is no significant Ford signage on the car, so I want to correct that.

The main 'over the top' stripes will be the same as fellow forum member JRodSan's car (below), with black pin stripping on the outer edges of the stripes only. I am just hoping the total overall look will not be 'over-the-top'!
My new baby with a couple of mods in just 2 weeks.

^^^^ I like the "Start" sign in the first photo - poetic in a way.

I hope when it's complete you'll somehow get the "Finish" sign subtly in.

Looking good too!
