Mt 17 GT has been boosted for over 23,000 miles with no issues. The car has
VMP GEN2R with 85MM pulley
56lb injectors
VMP fuel rails
VMP Boosta pump
JLT 125mm CAI
Ford twin 60 TB

Car made 611 wheel. I’m thinking of trying the 79mm pulley out. Anyone else running a similar setup? Is there still head room as far as fueling goes? If I do run the pulley I will have Boostane in the tank with the 93.

Thanks for any feedback.

See if you can find a Ford Performance twin 65mm TB or a VMP twin 67 or 69. That and the 79mm should be a real nice jump. I had the Gen2R on my '09 GT500 that is a real nice little blower and will certainly support more than 611. I think you are choking it a bit with the twin 60.

I forgot to add that I still have stock cats so I haven’t wanted to push it too hard yet. Its VMP tuned and cat protection is enabled. I live in an emissions state and haven’t wanted to play that game yet. I’m going to look into getting them off this year.

79 will be nice boost in power. I think 79 is okay on 93 with boostane, but check with VMP to see what that will put your boost at. No more than 10-11psi on pump gas.

If you go with a throttle body change, Ford CJ 65, forget anything VMP.

I used to run a 79mm on the street with 93 octane and a 75 on the track with Bootane. I had FIC 1000 injectors at the time.

Thats the plan eventually. I know VMP had way too many TB issues.
