I don't need to install anything on the SCT device in order to catalog?

Just record using the built in software, come back home and load the file Torrie sent me on the logging software and upload?

Is my understanding correct?

To perform the datalog you will need to get the settings file from Torrie. This file tells the SCT device which parameters to record.

On the SCT website you can find Live Link software, this software can be used to install the settings file to the device, and to upload your datalog and save it to send to Torrie.

The file he sent me to use for datalogging was named M-E2.cf4.

Torrie,

Can I set the SCT up to display knock count for each cylinder? If so, which PIDs do I select?

Also, can I monitor timing retard?

I'd like to see if there is any difference between gas stations.

You can check and see if those pids are shown for your strategy.

Got my Unleashed tune set up on Thursday and went out data logging with my buddy on Friday night.
We did the data logging with the laptop attached to the SCTX4 tuner, but I hear you can do it without a laptop as well. Cool thing was that we had the laptop tethered to my phone’s data connection and sent Torrie the data while on the move.

He had the final tune ready before we even made it to a parking lot!

I loved my Ecoboost before, but wow… What a difference this tune makes! Especially after data logging!
I was on the fence about the tune for a while, but kinda regret not getting it sooner.

Even my buddy (who has a 2015 GT) was REALLY impressed!
He’s considering ditching his BAMA tune and getting the Unleashed tune for the GT.

Thanks to Torrie and Turbo Ghost for all of your support!
Needless to say, I'm another 110% satisfied customer.

Was it difficult? I need to get logs to Tori as well. What all did you log?

Not difficult at all…
We did three 0-80 runs, two 2nd gear pulls and one 3rd gear pull.
We stopped the data logging while slowing down from 80 each time and saved the file.

Not sure what Torrie needed, so we sent them all.

Very Impressive Hig! First off, I'm sick of you auto guys posting your 1/4 and 0-60 times, get a manual and learn to drive a car :D secondly, you have a PP or have you upgraded suspension? I see you have aftermarket wheels, I would assume you have drag tires on too?
Auto (easy peasey ) or not, that's a nice run! I'm looking to upgrade my suspension, wheels, tires, ic, dp come spring and hit the track!

I've raced manual cars for well over a decade, I could probably do that same time with the 6spd;)

This car is bone stock other than the mods listed and 275/35-19 Nitto Invo on 19x9.5 SVE Drifts. No drag tires, just some tires to get me by while I save for some big boy rubber.
