Awesome!! Great to hear how happy you are!

What exhaust setup are you going with?
Corsa Extreme! I actually grabbed them on super sale for $1420. Install will be around 200 but the results will be significant...mwhahaha

Congrats! You will love the C7. It's a total head turner as well. I have a '14 3LT Z51 Convertible. It's a joy to drive.

How much was your stingray, Brent?
62 sticker. 54 out the door with USAA pricing and a Veteran Rebate. The LE I believe would have been 51 out the door with Markup and 1000 dollars in dealer fees and BS charges.

Took some pictures today. My favorite thing about this color. Even on a overcast gray day it looks beautiful.

Brent I cannot believe you ditched an LE after all this time, I remember your posts months ago when I first ordered mine, that is nuts. Then again I ordered mine and drove it off the lot as of a month ago while your still waiting. I would have done the same exact thing.

Ford is so stupid losing a loyal LE customer. One has to wonder if they actually cared when you pulled the plug. Your vette is awesome! that is the only product from the bowtie I would ever consider, and among them only the new stingrays

Beautiful Vette! Congrats Brent!

NEVA! OJMOBILE STAYS!

btw this is the built in PDR in action. Now I'm going to have to hit a track! All the overlay is built in to the PDR and is customizable.

Fastest Lap Around Road America in a C7 Corvette …:
That PDR is SICK! Heck, it even gives a GPS tracking of the track! That's SO COOL!

Congrats.

If you haven't seen the info already, guys are updating their non-Z51 cars with the Z51 swaybars, bushings and endlinks easily and cheaply for good results.

Enjoy it, I love mine.

I definitely did Not want the Z51 pack but I'm glad I can add on the bits like this. Thanks Halfmoon

There is a ZF1 option that gives you just the aesthetics. I have just about every option on mine. MSRP was a tad over $77,000. Later I swapped the dash for the carbon fiber one. It looks amazing.

I was thinking of going this route but I'm liking the way the 2LT looks maybe if I get bored in the future.

The crazy thing with this car is I'm extremely happy with what I purchased....except the exhaust lol but even the optional NPP I would have replaced. In the Mustang you feel you have to go all out or you're missing out.

On the C7 I didn't want Chrome/Black rims or the "Tier 2" leather. Then I looked at the Z51 pack and it seems other then mild increase in performance its meant for track longevity.

When GM said there is no longer a "base" Corvette they weren't kidding.

Like I said its nice to have the option to add some Z51 Aero/suspension bits and possibly a Z06 grill in the future.

I hear you. I just installed the Magnaflow street series catback on my Mustang. There wasn't a Mustang in my future when I bought the Vette. I wanted all the options. Most dealers out here in California are greedy and mark up the cars $10,000. Luckily for me they had this in their inventory for 2 months, inside the showroom, and I negotiated $5725 off MSRP. All they had in stock were convertibles. No complaints there. It's so nice with the top down.

For me the reasons I went with the Z51 primarily was the MSRC suspension. But, when you start totaling up the options the package is a good value for everything that comes in it. Either way though, you can't lose.. like you said, there really is no more "base" like there was with the C6 and C5, anyway.. I'm sticking with the NPP exhaust since nothing flows better when it's open and it's just sound preference at this point.

I'm constantly contemplating if I want to really jump in and mod this car with a blower, or if I am going to just enjoy it and look at a Z06 in 2 or 3 years. The car is really nice and fully street capable, so the Z06 is kinda just overkill.... but it's neat overkill.. :D
