Ouch, AFAIK Tune+ stopped using Densos in favor of NGK's for quality reasons so your batch may have been part of the reason for the change.

I guess its a risk with any plugs tho especially when running high boost in likely a very hot engine.

Yes it is ..

Northwest area very seldom do we get heat wave of extreme measures
We only touch very hot weather , and great place to live on high boost
On a direct injection motor.. brisk rr14s is what I run so the block is cool
When the boost is up now if can just lay off the gas pedal.Lol:

WE HAVE NOW SWITCHED TO NGK 6510 SPARK PLUGS. DENSO WAS HAVING PRODUCTION PROBLEMS SO WE WILL NO LONGER BE CARRYING THEM. NGK IS ALMOST ALWAYS IN STOCK AND READY TO SHIP! CLICK LINK BELOW TO PURCHASE!

So yeah, not sold out just not using them anymore.

Just installed them. Engine seems to run smoother at idle. Stock spark plugs were not badly fouled. I haven't driven the car yet, but I do not expect to notice any difference during daily driving than before. The benefit is clearly that I can now get more power with my tune safely.
