If someone could blow the picture up and post it. THE 5.0 BADGE HAS BEEN PHOTOSHOPPED. I have it as my wallpaper and you can tell it has been chopped there. There are weird pixellated distortion around the badge that they didn't hide. That with not seeing the vents and the more I look this hood does not have vents. I think this is a base or ecoboost model with the PP wheels and a photoshopped 5.0 badge.

Very strange.

I love yellow but this looks terrible :(

Hope it's just a bad pic, but I fear we have another Zinc debacle on our hands :(

A lot of the time the pixels at color transitions are due to JPEG compression artifacts not photoshop. Might be the case here.

You can just make out the vent in the passenger side, at least there's a shape where the vent should be.

Yeah. The whole picture is riddled with compression artifacts, not just around the badge. I'm quite sure it's a 5.0, otherwise they would have had to shop in the GT grill as well. The missing hood vents are weird though.

Well, it's ain't as bad as zinc but yeah, I hope it's a richer yellow color too. Or I might end up with orange.

I will take your guys word for it as I am not photoshop literate in any means other than being able to pick out weird discrepancies. Thanks. It still seems odd to me that it really seems to be missing hood vents. You would think you could make them out even a little. There appear to be none.

If Zinc Yellow is so disliked why was it such a popular seller? It has the top 3 of most yellow mustangs sold in a single year in modern times. I'm sure Ford is aware of these numbers too.

2004 - 7,501 total sold in Screaming Yellow.
2003 - 10,141 total sold in Zinc Yellow.
2002 - 8,684 total units sold in Zinc Yellow.
2001 - 11,471 (10,706 in U.S.) total sold in Zinc Yellow.
2000 - 917 units in Zinc Yellow (all were Spring Feature GT's)
1999 - 6,811 total units in Chrome Yellow
1998 - 6,283 total units in Chrome Yellow
1995 - 3,497 total units in Canary Yellow
1994 - 4,038 total units in Canary Yellow
1993 - 1,503 total units in Canary Yellow (Limited LX model only)

I think zinc yellow looks good on a Mach... but that's about it. Otherwise, it looks like a faded and cheap yellow.
