Anyone have a lead or timeline when any track pads for the Brembo Performance Pack calipers will be available?

I have an HPDE set up for December 16,17 and really don't want to throw around a 3700# car on street pads. Don't get me wrong - I will - but that's the problem. :)

I wonder if the Brembo brakes come with a high quality track pad or if they are just standard fair that fit the Brembo calipers. Anyone have an idea?

Worst case I probably need to buy an extra set of pads. Wonder if they are available from Ford yet.

You might try contacting Carbotech. They might be able to get you a set of track pads custom made until they start manufacturing them themselves. They'll probably have you pop the factory pads off and take some measurements.

The main thing you need to be worried about changing is your brake fluid. Motul RBF600 is a good option.

They should be the same brakes as the '13-14 GT500's up front. Starting point at least.
Whoops - Performance Pack brakes specifically for my application.

I don't have the numbers for rear pad. Wouldn't advice only swapping fronts. But at least this might get you started.

Front 6 piston pads "should" be- (From trusted source but I haven't personally installed yet)

Friction Materials Standards Institute Pad Shape-
Width:164.6 mm
Height:81.5mm
Thickness: 15.6/16.0mm

FMSI "D1365" (15.6 mm) <-Lexus, Maserati, others
and
FMSI "D1116" (16.0 mm) <-Mercedes AMG, Subaru, others

Hawk "HB616"+compound number
Performance Ceramic -Street, Luxury & Touring- HB616Z.607
HPS -High Performance Street- HB616F.607
HP-Plus -autocross/track day- HB616N.607
DTC-60 -motor sports- HB616G.607

PAGID "8005" (thickness: 16.4mm)
Brembo "07.8365.33"
Brembo "07.9209.xx"
Ferodo FRP3100 (Height: 82mm)
Ferodo FDS4212 (Height: 81mm)

Lots of other brands too...
hope that helps a little. At least might help start a conversation with pad manufacture or supplier.

Hopefully someone comes up with pads for these cars because the factory parts is pricey.

Even though the 13-14 Shelby used a similar brake set up as the 15 uses the rotor offsets changed for more clearance. The numbers are all completely different....at the OEM level. We'll see what ends up happening when the aftermarket starts making them.
