Tpms disable

I recently put some diff wheels on my 2016 gt. They dont have tpms sensors in them so i was searching to see if i could disable the tpms light with forscan. Everything i read said it wasnt possible but i tried anyway. I just went to the ipc module & body module & disabled it. My dash shows all my wheels have 0 psi & the tpms light has not been on at all & its been over a week so im pretty sure i disabled it? Idk im sure this is old news but like i said everything i read said it was mandated by the government or smthen & wasnt possible to disable the tpms light?

Ya i guess i shouldn't have said i wanted to disable the tpms system. I just wanted to turn the light off & everything i read said it wasnt possible but maybe that was because i was searching for how to disable the light? Idk but my light isnt on so it worked for me.

Yes with FORSCAN you can disable TPMS.

With forscan u can turn the light off. Which is what i was trying to do & the only reason i even posted anything was because i almost didnt even try because everything i read said it wasnt possible. I think what that meant was is wasnt possible to disable the tpms system? Idk but i just figured it might help someone else who wants to turn the light off which it sounds like it did help cordero 1?
