Congrats, it looks awesome! Thanks for your thoughts on the standard gauges. I agree, I feel like I'm missing something because I'm not as hyped about them as everybody else. Aside from the different "looks", the digital gauges do nothing more than the standard gauges do, all the same features and information. Glad to hear that you're happy with the standard gauges.

I am also glad to see this. I felt like the new gauges would be a novelty item.

Not bad if a stand alone option, but quite a bit more with the 401a package requirement.

Well about that………I found this black piece of plastic in the trunk that is square with a couple of holes in it. Darn dealer must have forgot to install it. Oh well so is life.

All kidding aside though I’m not drilling into my bumper. Will just deal with it as the issues come. May just keep the plate in the rear seat until I need to throw it in the front window. I'm hearing that legislation is going to get reintroduced to drop the front plate requirement. It failed to get out of committee back in Feb but hopefully it will pass this go.

Yeah, I've gone without for years without a ticket. I suppose as long as I don't get more than one ticket a year it's well worth it.

I was considering the StoNSho plate mount just to have a handy way to pop it on when I needed to. Unfortunately it looks like the updated '18 version doesn't use existing holes under the splitter the way the '17 did.

On the digital gauges I felt like I had to have them. I like the way the sweet spot of the tach is centered in the pod. I never liked the way Ford splits their gauges with an ancillary data display. It may be more tolerable now that they put speed in there.

Wow! Looks awesome and I have never liked the Orange Fury in any pics I have seen until seeing yours. Maybe the tint helps, but you have one great looking Mustang there. Enjoy!

There is pretty good amount of flake in it. We shined a led light on it to see what it would look like in the sun and it definitely shines. Tomorrow will be a good day here and I’ll grab some pics with the DSLR.

That is correct it is a metallic based paint.
