To racing stripe or to not racing stripe ?

I've also got a Kona blue, I keep thinking about getting some dark grey/silver stripes. I've seen a couple I like but I'm not sure yet.

I’m going through the same dilemma now. Trying to decide between either White or Silver on my Ruby Red!

I just striped mine after a year of thinking about it. The thing is, if you don't like how it looks you can always remove it so it's not permanent. I am very happy with the way mine came out. What I would say is take some time to think about your favorite colors and the overall theme of the car. Do you want the stripes to match the calipers etc...Then from there you can get some ideas. I also used the 3M website to look at the different versions they had available. I just googled the name of the vinyl and you can see it on other cars.

I changed my silver pinstripes to yellow. Then added the side stripes.

Stripes are defiantly a matter of personal preference. Personally on Mustang's I like them. I was happy my car came with them and they're holding up just fine. Ford oem stripes shouldn't be more than $375. Are you thinking of getting after market?

On a brightly colored (red/orange/yellow) car, lets be honest. Your cop magnet cars already stick out so much you might as well throw on a stripe or 10.

On more muted colors, they can fix that nagging regret you may feel for not buying a bolder color in the first place.

On a silver/black/white car its a delima, because we can almost blend in with traffic w/o the stripes, and adding a boy-racer stripe draws a lot more attention.

They do look pretty good, either way.

It's all good and we need different opinions, otherwise we would all be driving a blue mustang with white stripes.

For about 100 bucks you can get enough vinyl wrap and knife less tape to do all the stripes you want. And you can have your stripes as wide or as narrow as you want at any location on the car.

Doing stuff yourself is always cheaper, but working with vinyl with no experience sucks.

Gotta have em. I paid a pro to install my Big worms. And it looks like it. I dis-assembled the front end and the rear deck. He did the rest.

Not really, I jumped in cold turkey on some simple side stripes on my truck first. I have done 3 mustangs now and a helmet. Prep and patience is the key.

I'm rocking Big Worm metallic blue on orange fury for 2021 McLaren livery.

I did GB stripes on my previous triple yellow Mustang and got compliments all the time.
