If you can find them, Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's are a great tire for the price. $723. With the $60 mail in, all four tires set me back a grand total of $663 installed.
Traction is great, looks are great, handling is great, they are quiet, more predictable and last FAR longer than the Pirellis.
Unfortunately the Firehawk line is being discontinued. Firestone will carry a Bridgestone line in its place.

I've been doing the research and come to either Firehawks + winter tires or Pilot AS3+ for a semi-daily driver (with other vehicle options for when it snows).
