What kind of pressure are you guys running for daily driving?
I was around 32 when I took it home from dealer and after driving it would reach around 37 ish...
Now im running about 42-45 psi depending on the whether or not it is hot, or cold.

33-34 cold from an actual gauge. Indicated ~36 during driving. 42-45 is way overinflated.

I think the max pressure is 50 or 55...how is 42 over inflated?

Under and overinflation will get you uneven tire wear, compromised ride quality and handling. Stick to near what the door sticker recommends (I believe it's 35 psi) unless you're doing track driving.

It is over inflated. You're going to wear the middle part of your tire out much faster than the rest. I bet your ride feels funny driving as well.

I always run 32-34PSI in my street tires.

you don't go by what the tires rating is. you have to look inside the drivers door jam. there is a sticker there from ford that takes into account your options (wheels, tires, suspension) and states the optimal recommended cold tire pressure for that set up.

Keep in mind, the tires on your car are designed to be adaptable for a great deal of cars and set ups. that's why you can go by the tires PSI ratings.

I'm at 35 (cold) psi on the 20" Pirelli P-Zero tires. they get to 38 (hot) while driving.

it was 42 (hot) when i picked the car up from the dealer.

Yeah I just dropped mine to 34psi cold on a hand gauge. I find the cars display is a psi or two higher than the handheld.

Take em to a tire shop and get em filled with nitrogen. Your pressure wont fluctuate so much with the temperature.

The desired tire pressure is not the one on the tire. The tire has a generic number that must be acceptablt to many makes and models of cars.

the cars desired tire pressure is listed in the drivers door jam on a sticker as a recomended "cold tire pressure". Mustang GT with 20's is 34 psi.

Do not go buy what the tire says.
