Tire Nitrogen In A Can??

Isn't about 80% of most air in air compressors nitrogen anyways. Whats to really gain from pure nitrogen?

Pure nitrogen molecules are slightly larger the the oxygen molecules and tend not to pass thru the rubber as easily, but the advantage of pure nitrogen is that its pressure does not change with temperature as much as regular air. So if you go ripping around a track and heat the tires up the pressure tends to remain more constant. That's the only advantage to nitrogen.
