I am not sure what section this should be in. In preparation for adding a supercharger to my AWD 2017 Mustang GT, I am pulling the timing cover off to replace the oil pump gears and crank sprocket.
The car has 77k on it. While I have it apart, should I upgrade and/or replace the other timing components? Is it worth it? I do plan to raise the rev limiter to 7500+.
The standard recipe seems to be:
-Boss 302 primary tensioners
-GT350 primary chains
But I am not sure what else, or if this is overkill.
What else, should I get all new guides?
What about the secondary chains? Are they hard to change?
Thanks in advance,
Tim
