Have your headers ceramic coated before installation, if possible.

Lower under-hood and IATs.
I plan on it. I will also post OEM header tempuateurs as well as my ceramic coated LTH for comparison. I also like ceramic coating for I can choose color options. Have you taking tempuateur measurements like 6" from the manifold to check the heat? Thanks

I haven't touched my headers, but if I did, I'd have them ceramic coated. So I suggest it as a general idea.

Would you mind taking heat measurements of your LTH headers like 6" from the manifold and post them. I will post my OEM header tempuateurs and my Ceramic coated LTH headers and post. This way people will have some sort of heat measurements from all. I want to see just how much the differences are from OEM.
Thank You
That would be very interesting data. Would those readings be taken after the car has reached normal operating temperature On the temp gauge?

I donā€™t have LTH brand LTHs, but you did make me curious as to what kind of temps my Ultimate Headers LTHs are reaching both right on one of the primary tubes as it exits the header flange, as well as 6ā€ back from that.

Absolutely, when the engine reaches operating tempuateur. I will take them at 6", and like midway down the header and post.

Then I will let you know what my temps are. Thanks

I can post my findings if you like, or I can just observe from the sidelines if you prefer, since I have a different brand of headers than LTH.

Will do, I was hoping youā€™d say that. Iā€™m warming up my car as we speak and will post results shortly.
And if you never took measurements with Stock OEM header, let me know and I will crank mine up and post

Nope, I never even thought to take measurements on the factory headers.

Yes please post them. Iā€™m looking forward to seeing the temperature differences between the factory headers and all other brands that will be posted here.

Ultimate Headersā€˜ product description says they use 321 stainless steel on their primary tubes. Read about benefits of 321 SS here.

That's great to hear you like them. When mine arrive, I will send off to JetHot to have ceramic coated, then install.
