Don't get me wrong, I like the S550 very much, but the Giugiaro concept to me was the perfect blend of retro and modern design. The front end looks more Mustang-esque than the S550 and at the same time the silhouette is a clear departure from the S197. The back of the Giugiaro is also fastback, but I think the S550's taillights and overall shape is much better than the Giu. I also would have kept the S550's interior and gotta love that Glass Roof. What you guys think? S550 or Giugiaro? Or a blend of the two? All pics except the one that shows the rear, were taken by me at the Geneva Auto Show in 2007! Wow, has it been that long?

The only thing I like on this car that would look good on S550 is the three tiered hood. The S550 far exceeds the look of this.

Just like S550, the Giugiaro Mustang needed to be seen in the metal to be fully appreciated. I think it was ahead of its time, but still look good now. I do think it shares something with S550, particularly in terms of body surfacing.

As for the rear end, the original sketch had it looking much better.

I think the GT350 should have been the regular S550, THEN Shelby should have built an Uber car!

I always thought this looked horrible. It looks so inconsistently pieces together with bad proportions, cartoony styling elements.

I don't like GIUGIARO one, but the Galpin/Fisker one is pretty nice (except for the giant Rocket emblem).

Exactly, the car was unbelievable in person. I fell in love with it. I remember when the spy pics of the '10 redesign were surfacing, I was praying that the Giugiaro concept would become a reality. Oh, well, I guess I'll have to settle with the S550 GT PP :headbang:

That third image is just blurry nothingness... not sure what that is in there for.

Agree with the others, I am not a fan, this thing is average to ugly depending on the angle. Glad they went with the design that they did. Not a fan of the Fisker one either, the nose is horrible.
