Curious why the pictures I posted got a “Mustang6g.com” watermark. Also curious why my thread title was changed to “The last production S550 GT500 was just built.” I changed the title back to last 2020 GT500.

Does this forum stamp all pictures posted here with their watermark?WTF? (checks site rules about posted pictures becoming property of the site)
Good question. Not that I have seen.Does this forum stamp all pictures posted here with their watermark?
I've done writeups before that were put on the front page and photos were watermarked. I don't have issue with that at all.Does this forum stamp all pictures posted here with their watermark?
Because they own the place?Curious why the pictures I posted got a “Mustang6g.com” watermark. Also curious why my thread title was changed to “The last production S550 GT500 was just built.” I changed the title back to last 2020 GT500.
I'd assume just any uploads aren't doing this - maybe there was a story and set of images that were also sent directly to the forum and/or, internal ("official") Ford photos may possibly be restricted to pics that have been vetted (authorized / used by permission) by M6G.Curious why the pictures I posted got a “Mustang6g.com” watermark.
Yea, anybody who is anybody has made the front page here. LOLI've done writeups before that were put on the front page and photos were watermarked. I don't have issue with that at all.
Umm, no. Those photos should have never been taken, let alone published according to ford policy. I was told by the guy who used to send me pictures that they could never be posted.I'd assume just any uploads aren't doing this - maybe there was a story and set of images that were also sent directly to the forum and/or, internal ("official") Ford photos may possibly be restricted to pics that have been vetted by M6G.
Thanksgiving food photo for a cross check - check - check ...
Yeah, you're a rock star ...Yea, anybody who is anybody has made the front page here. LOL
I think I'm overdue.
Ahhh, that’s it. The pics were placed on the front page. I guess that’s why someone edited my title, which is not really accurate. It’s not the “last S550 GT500.” There will be 2 more years of cars.I've done writeups before that were put on the front page and photos were watermarked. I don't have issue with that at all.
Right. That's was point, by making them content of a publishing originator vs. user contributed content under a "publishing platform", they need to take authority/credit (regardless of whether the original content should be published ...)Ahhh, that’s it. Agreed, hopefully with production at this level the dealer mark ups will subside relatively quickly. Ford loves to tout how the GT500 is a great bargain for the price until you try to buy one for MSRP. The level of price gouging is ridiculous but whats worse is that people actually pay it.Wow 5000+ that's quite a lot of them. How people still pay adm on these is beyond me.
Paying ADM on a vette is inconceivable to me. They make so many of those things and are always introducing new and upgraded trims. People are gonna lose their shirts when the Z06 and ZR1 come out, much less when post covid production ramps back up.Chevy built 20,368 C8 Corvettes for 2020 year and the ADM”s are nuts
I bought my C8 for MSRP and only had to call one dealer. Most if not all the large dealers have sold their new C8's at MSRP. The only people paying ADM are the ones buying from small dealers or the ones that didn't order their cars like everyone else or the guys buying used. If you "have to have it now" then be prepared to pay up. Ordering a C8 at MSRP from any of the big dealerships throughout the country is easy.. just be prepared to wait your turn.Chevy built 20,368 C8 Corvettes for 2020 year and the ADM”s are nuts
