There isn't a difference though. The local market will determine the ADM. I happened to live in a little town in South Carolina, so the markup isn't that bad. Guessing that those 25-30K ADM cars will sit and come down. Doesn't hurt to ask though. Hell, if I thought someone would pay $10K ADM for mine with 500 miles on it, I would have a hard time not selling.

I attribute it to houses. If you have a house in California, you are going to spend much more per sq ft than you would in South Carolina. Drill down further into the markets and a house with custom cabinetry, custom woodwork and high end finishes is going to sell more per sq ft than a generic home. The GT350 is just that. It is the custom house that warrants a significant markup.

I read posts on this forum about how "they are going for 30K over". I find that extremely hard to believe. Who here paid that much?

What I always wonder is if I walked into one of these BIG ADM dealers - talking $20k+ - would they immediately buy my GT350 for $15k over sticker with the hopes of selling it for $5-20k more? I wonder.
Dealers are actually doing that, but with other dealers in small markets. There is a local dealer who had 6 GT350 at one time. All selling for $30k ADM expect their 2015 which was going for $75k

I might pay up to $2~$5K over MSRP for a GT350 - much easier to swallow than $25~$30K.

Or the smarter thing to do would be to buy a base GT with PP for $5K to $6K off MSRP (yes, it's easily done from the right dealer), then put that money plus a little more into a supercharger and some suspension & wheels/tires. Yeah, it's not a "GT350", but it would be one hell of a ride for still way less than a GT350. All depends on what your goals are.

The biggest draw for most is the motor itself, so if it lacks the Voodoo, it's just not quite the same.

Not to cast aspersions but that reminds me of the old Winston Churchill remark "we've already determined what you are madam, we're just haggling over the price.":D

It sure does, I got tired of looking, almost gave up. I got a pretty good tax return that covered my small ADM that I found, so I said what the hell you only live once. :)

Pricing at dealers

To all; (FACT) In the DC metro area the GT-350's "not the R model", are marked up on dealers floors $20,000! Will ford increase production so the GT350's can build up street credit. Instead of sitting in collecters warehouses?????????
