Which brand are those stripped lowers? I like the cast in trigger guard. I need to buy a few. Don't want to keep them in the safe or at home though since I have one SBR lower and 3 SBR uppers. All that intent BS they can hit you with....

Nice looking 39 :headbang:

same muzzle break I use on mine. How do you like the Phase5 bolt catch?
Thanks. I haven't shot it yet, but messing around with it. The phase5 makes it easier for me, as I shoot left handed. (I'm an oddball I'm right handed, but left eye dominant).

Nice. I had a blackrain ordinance drop in and worked perfectly till I started shooting russian steel. Hard primers and all. Switched it out for a standard trigger and it worked flawlessly. Ideally I would like to find a lighter pull but strong enough hammer to function with berdans. let us know how that works with steel if you shoot them. With the drop in I was getting dimples about 1 in 4 shots. After the switch, no issues. Already had the enhanced pin, the drop in just wasn't striking hard enough.

That's the one thing I am worried about. The freind that helped me build it recommended a longer firring pin. I think he said it was .015 or .03 longer than the standard pins they use in the conversion. Says it really helps in the misfires. Also that's why we didn't do a drop in so we could go with a heavier hammer spring.

You are going to need the pin no doubt. Don't fret though, they can be had for under 10 bucks
