Good find. This might be a group buy if enough people are interested but it does look like this is designed only for the Premium model. Sucks :(

I would want this in like a year from now, price drop, software fully working and a lot of people have it already so I am not the test dummy lol

But, this looks promising! Tesla is my 2nd fav car behind my S550 so that would be kinda cool its both in one, still not 100% how I feel on it but I am liking it more and more...

Don't be so worried about being a "test dummy". I've been one for multiple systems since 3/15. Has its perks.

The guy selling this item business is about an hour away from me. He wants $1300 for the unit and $200 for shipping. Which means that this item would be drop shipped from China. I would be up for a group buy for $1000 a unit.

Just get an iPad, Create your own app and hook it up to an arduino. I just did my house like that. The problem with the car is that you will need to hardwired almost everything...

Cool idea, terrible user interface design. Just looks cheesy to me, if it was possible to reprogram it and design a better UI i'd consider it. Skeuomorphism died a while ago, so putting it in an infotainment unit makes it look dated

I disagree entirely. If the mustang were to be purely a muscle car, then it should only be an engine some seats, steering wheel, some brakes and a shell of metal around it. What's wrong with someone trying out an option and posting about it for everyone to see?

Talk about bursting through a door with guns blazing, you offer no valuable input, and just start bashing.

Hey man, have a seat. Relax, put the coffee down and just breath for a second.

Driving is a visceral experience for many people but there's no reason to bash other opinions based on your own preferences. Some of us embrace technology especially in the cockpit.

Have you priced a Tesla and have you priced a Mustang? This is not an argument however I would definitely take a Model S over a Mustang given the option (more room, more efficient, more technology, safer).

That's probably true on your third point however you're making an assumption based on very limited information.
