I have had the Borla Switchfire on my otherwise OEM 2018 GT active exhaust for 5 years now and have always liked the sound with it's mellow note. I recently had long tube headers put on and the exhaust is now raspy and tinny. I am reluctant to take off the Switchfire and wondering if there is room and height for resonators to be added downstream of the Switchfire. Has anyone done this addition and if so how does it now sound and did you lose ground clearance.

I recently had installed the 18" bottle resonators from Vibrant đź‘ŚIt definitely refined the sound and growls nice and deep. No rasp but drone remains at highway speed unfortunately. This was added after a cat delete.

I also added vibrants I had corsa extreme double h pipe active in my 22 it always had an awesome sound then after arh catless headers it gained that same raspy rattling sound your talking about sounded like crap. I added the vibrants on the second h pipe portion and it made a night and a day difference refined the sound and brought back the muscle sound it quited it down slightly it’s still wake the dead loud when getting on it but sounds clean now. I used the 12 version there part number is 1794. they make different sizes so just check where you’ll put them those 1794 are 3 inch o/I .

Thanks Carlos. So it seems that immediately after the resonator delete H pipe in your case there is room to fit the new ones.

There is hope for me still to keep my Switchfire and control the LTH sound. Thanks @Nitrofish.

Fits like a glove. They barely free flowing and does not interrupt performance. It really refines it to almost like having the "Suit case stock resonator on" In a sense I'd say but without it being a restrictive point.
