Good evening everyone. The 2 strut mount studs are stripped on my 2016 GT (long story). Does anyone know if these can be replaced? If so how or the part # to order? Or can the studs threads be fixed? I want to put the strut tower brace back on.

Thanks,
Kevin

Some have drilled out the stripped or broken studs and put in their own bolts. There are some other threads on this issue.

Definitely rethread with a die if it's just stripped and not broken. You'll have it fixed in just a few minutes, and be as good as new.

So...

In replacing spark plugs - had to remove the Steeda strut tower brace.

Got the nuts confused and stripped the 2 bolts closest to the engine - that are painted the car color - according to the video - 10-1.25

So 3 are on, on each side - torqued properly.

Am I safe to drive the car with just 3 of 4 bolts on each side while this kit comes from Amazon?
