I'm a bit embarrassed if I'm being honest. I've been driving a long time and I've driven a lot of different vehicles, but man I'm stressing about this front lip on my GT, I've had a couple of close calls. Last one happened this weekend, if a curb had been a quarter inch taller I'd be replacing my splitter :frown:. I know...I know, learn to drive etc. etc. lol

Was doing research for a front camera and have read loads of forum posts with few good solutions. However I also stumbled over this Steeda Mustang Front Parking Camera Kit (2015-2023). It's spendy but so would a replacement splitter be and the cost to my pride. I can't find anyone talking about it or any videos of it other than a super short function video. Anyone used this? Know anything about it? I like how simply it's integrated and it looks pretty clean.

Steeda's web site has a PDF of the install right there.
To be fair those instructions are terrible imo. Looks like someone scanned a copy and lost a lot of quality. Also feel like a lot of detail is missing.

I used the rear view cam from my dash cam and have a small switch to activate the camera. You can see center mounting below bumper cover in pics. 3m double side tape worked well.

Very nice car btw. Can you provide more details on your dashcam and your setup? I don't hate that idea esp if it's more cost effective.

Nice car! Do you view it on your phone or on the screen that is built into some dashcams? Do you have another rearview camera ?

I believe that steeda kit is just a rebranded kit from another manufacture. I just can't for the life of me remember which one. I have been tempted to try this out.

It a cheap Amazon dash camera. They all use the same basic rear camera. View on the dash camera screen. Not the cars in dash. Only us it if needed for parking.

If you figure it out, I'd be interested to know. I'm pretty tempted to try this, I like "OEM like" mods. Sadly you have to pay for that type of integration though...

I hadn't thought about this method, I don't hate it, is that camera wireless or did you have to run a wire to the cabin?
