Anybody have issues with the front 2 hex bolts not lining up properly? This is my 2nd brace since I thought it was an issue with the brace but now I'm beginning to think my car is the issue here.

Thanks

Slight issue with mine, but no pry bar needed.

The mounting method used of inside the tube Allen cap bolts means that there is no slop (excess clearance) on that end of the brace mounts. Manufacturing tolerances mostly on Ford’s side of the house means there really is no other way than to just use some muscle to align.

I found that mounting the rear bolts loosely provided a closer alignment by ensuring the brace was in the correct plane to prevent cross threading the Allen bolts. Start the first Allen bolt but do not allow the head to enter the tube, and then start the second one. Alternate tightening each bolt a little at a time until seated, and then crank them both tight.

For those with Stainless Works headers, I have a close fit with about a ½” clearance from the bends in the long tubes. I have no contact under WOT acceleration.
