Spotify Update and Sync 3

Has anybody else on android had trouble with Spotify 7.0.0.1369 on Sync 3? Spotify updated last night (12/1/2016) and now it no longer shows up on the Sync 3 apps screen.

The recent update added a notification to my phone saying "SmartDeviceLink Connected to SYNC" that shows up anytime it's connected. It never did this before the update.

If you mean sync3 v1.0 the crap version then yes I know it doesnt work, theres noway you can skip the song

Yes, Sync3 v1.0. Everything was working fine before the latest Spotify update. I could skip, browse, everything. I guess I'm going to have to find the apk for the previous version and install it.

thanks for the heads up. speaking of spotify.... when I start my car and choose a spotify track it usually doesnt play anything, my current workout around is to go back to imusic, and pick any track, as soon as it starts to play then i can go back and select a spotify track and it will play.

anyway one have experience with this?

I am glad to see it isn't just me having this issue. I was thinking I was doing something wrong.

Yeap just sent Spotify a message about the issue. Doesn't even show in the apps screen after updating.

That's what I rolled back to as well. No issues with that version.

My car does this too, regardless of if I'm using Carplay or just bluetooth. I haven't been able to figure out anything besides the same workaround you're using.

I shall try the latest spotify with sync3 2.2..anyone else also seeing this? i think its working
