That's exactly what I did.Curious if anyone opted to buy the spare tire kit? Thought about using my 42000 FordPass points- -
This is silly as hell, but that's a really good looking wheel. Like, I'd like a set of 4, in the proper sizes for a PP car.Do you have the Brembo brakes?
If not then pick up a factory spare tire kit.
If so get the appropriate Automotive Authority kit using the drop down. There are some other brands that use a huge spacer to clear the Brembos. The AA kit does not.

IMO, that's what the stock PP1 wheels should be. Not the crap Ford puts on them that takes 14 hours and 36 ibuprofen to get clean.
FYI: the directions gave you remove a section of the felt pad on the back side of the tire cover panel to lay under the tire to prevent movement and squeeks. . I didn't want to cut my panel. So I ordered a piece of 1/8" felt & rubber pad which I will put on the underside are and rtv to my car. Good luckJust ordered one from AA for my Mach 1 today.
I know what you mean about those kind of wheels. I got the mustang convertible with the blackout package and the wheel so I got are five spoke black-really easy to clean. This is silly as hell, but that's a really good looking wheel. Like, I'd like a set of 4, in the proper sizes for a PP car.
