Hey guys!

Forgive my ignorance, but will these both fit the stock exhaust setup?

I ask as this one - https://www.americanmuscle.com/mustang-exhaust-header-hds-fm11-37l-shorty.html
states "Header Collector Size - 2.50 Inch"

but this one - https://www.americanmuscle.com/cnl-mustang-stainless-steel-shorty-headers-432207.html
states "Header Collector Size - Stock Replacement"

I just want to make sure both will bolt up to the stock cats.

This one nice touch.

Doesn’t your car have shorty headers from the factory?

My bad! I was still thinking Coyote. Should have caught myself when I noticed that the ports were wrong and one was missing!

All good, choom, been there done that

but back to Blake, go on the market place, craigslist, whatever and find a used 15-17 GT exhaust, it’ll sound so much better and fit like a glove, no extra mods needed

Boat anchor, the good it could take saltwater some time to destroy it.

I think the exhaust note will change some. Post a picture when finished would like to see how it turns out.

I say sharp.

Full disclosure - I did the GT catback exhaust swap about a month ago. Found one for $100 about an hour away.

I just didn't mention that since the cats where the shorties will attach are unchanged.

I also have the aluminum K&N CAI, and the MPT PR-X 87 tune.

Shorties are the last step - for a while at least. I know it won't add much power - it's the deeper exhaust note I'm after.

So all the aftermarket shorty headers listed in this thread so far will bolt right up to the stock cats?

Including this cheapest option? Per the reviews they're basically BBK clones.

If they will fit, is there any reason not to go with these?

We ran BBKs for about 2.5k miles on the stock exhaust setup. We are also selling ours right now at a OBO amount!
