Good choice.I think Im going to go with Stealthbox. Looks very clean and almost factory. Love AutoFanatic btw.
Make sure to buy the lc2i also. Also, get a jl 500x1 amp.

Can’t wait to hear see. This job is on my radar for this year.I jumped into the subwoofer bandwagon for about a year, also a JL Audio Stealbox with a JL XD 300 watt amp. This cars exhaust is absolutely awesome to listen to, when cruising and at car shows. But, as the wife said to me, can we listen to some real music, haha. I have eclectic tastes in music from jazz, trance, blues, country, classical, easy listening, metal, rock, etc. My music hobby if you will is something that has been with me since the early 70’s. I have about 7700 vinyl records and dedicated listening room with tube amp gear and all of the analog sources to reach audio nirvana. Needless to say, the sound in the Shelby is atrocious compared to a mega buck high resolution audio system, but, it’s a Shelby. But, wife,,,happy wife, you get it...so, going full out with the new JL audio stuff.
Fronts: JL C7 650, 2 way
Rears: JL Audio C7 650 2 way
Amplifier: VX800/8i with built in DSP full-range amplifier 75 watts per 8 channels
Sub: Stealthbox
Sub amp: SD300
Dynamat fronts and rear
Installer is doing a custom install with DSP tune, says will be a surprise, hopefully not to wallet above the parts. Will post pics when done this weekend.
I know Shelby, but not a race car to me, and pure pleasure when out with the wife, and when she says play that song, we both will enjoy it.
Both Shelby and wife are keepers for life, enjoy it because it’s too short. Happy cruising and listening.
Yea same crap. It’s horrendous. What does the 2018R have for a stereo, if any? Is it the package with 7 speakers like the 15/16 tech packs?
....at least the Shaker in my wife’s 2016 GT sounds way better than the Shelby. I also think my base 2014 fiesta se had a better sound system then the Shelby, haha.Shaker ain't shaking shit.
Nice. I don’t think I can easily remove mine anymore because it is solidly built into the panels now with the added damping and custom boxes.Takes up the corner but this was my solution to the needed bass, takes up minimal room and is removable anytime I need to do it.
