[MENTION=11627]gsxr1300[/MENTION] You are correct Jason. It could have worked but you would have had to grind off some frame posts and squeeze things in. By relocating it, it serves two purposes. No grinding off any posts and the heat from the intercooler tank isn’t right next to the air intake filter. With the current location it now sits right underneath the hoods ram air system so cool air is dumping on it helping to keep it cooler as wellDennis did you have to move the Whipple coolant tank for the cobra jet intake?
