At the end of the day, and as much as we love 'em... IT's a car, and you and your friend are ok.

Oh, and fu... that lady!

Too bad there were no panel gaps to absorb the shock

On a serious note, I was kind of dreading a thread like this and can't imagine how pissed I'd be! I had someone destroy a quad of mine in hit and run; people that hit and run are just the scum of the earth.

Hope it is as good as new ASAP :clap2:

she just got in her car and drove off? you should have run after her! how could she have lost you with what your driving?

The neighborhood I was in wasn't really the best and at the same time the roads are crappy as hell, it is Chicago so there are a lot of pot holes everywhere. Plus I was standing in front of her the the whole time just to make sure she doesn't run cause I had a weird feeling she would. She kept moving her car back and forth between positions and kept going in and out of her car. Next thing you know I turn away for literally 2 seconds and she floors it right around me and runs out of the gas station.

I didn't even want to risk taking my car out after that and chasing her in that terrain in case something else happened.

If she can't see the damage, then she sure as hell shouldn't be driving :tsk:

AM should throw you a bone, especially since you were totally innocent.

Thanks guys! I hope it gets back to OEM or as close to OEM as possible.

Sorry to hear about this, Demon. Hopefully it is repaired to your satisfaction.
Thank you, I hope so too. The body shop I'm going to does really good work and they look at every detail for damages.

I would have probably pulled out my little .45 from the center console and shot her tires out. That sucks man. Prayers sent.

I know it doesn't help now but a suggestion: dash cam.

Some systems even have a rear camera. You'll have a recording of the event and won't have to remember to grab a camera or cell phone to take pictures before the others involved in the accident take off.
I've had a dash cam for a long time and love it. It made me $600 when the road construction crew threw a 2x4 board in traffic and hit my car. They couldn't dispute it. I suggest the Mobius ActionCam wide angle version. The night vision is incredible.
