RTR Gurney Flap issue

Followed all directions but have 1 issue. The right side corner just will not hold. Any suggestions/tips? I don't want it to fly off.

I think you’d be better off taking the whole flap off, getting a roll of 3M tape and just reinstall. Should be able to buy some adhesion promoter pads too, which greatly helps.

I'm probably going to do this. Got adhesion promotor pads off amazon & 3m super double sided tape on way, should be in today. Flap looks good/fits just annoyed the 1 corner.

Without taking it off and starting over, that corner probably wouldn’t ever be 100% right. It’s a good looking flap overall though

Any tips on getting tape residue off the flap? Both thumbs have no skin left. Tried palmolive & wd40. This sux.

Get the glue warm, a hair dryer or heat gun will do the trick. If you have adhesive remover that is safe for automotive paint, that will help also

I have goo gone & green scrubbies. Will try heat also on Monday. Gotta wait as going Daytona 500 tomorrow, 1st NASCAR race in person.

Have fun! Been to a few NHRA events at Route 66 but never made it to a NASCAR event at Chicagoland Speedway. Daytona is on my list to get to some day.

Tried again, didn't work. Free gurney flap to anyone in Jacksonville area. Just need new tape.
